Adventure Club NZ brings together fathers building businesses who want to meet other like-minded men, and go on epic adventures.
Been meaning to book in an epic adventure for a while but don’t get round to it? Or doing adventures, but want to do it with other quality business owners?
Here the adventures actually make it out of the group chat, and it’s normal to be intentional about your life, family and business.
We have multiple member-led bigger trips and micro trips throughout the year. You can opt in to as many as you like.
From experience, just one new conversation or connection can shift the trajectory of your life and business.
Each year, we help you set a clear direction for life and business, choose the priorities that matter most, and create an action plan to make it happen.
Then you’ll stay connected with a group of dads who understand the juggle and make room for shared adventures along the way.
Why I started Adventure Club.
I’m Greg (on the left). I kept hearing from dads building businesses that they wanted to get outdoors, take on a challenge, and meet other men who understand the mix of business and family life.
We men are often head down, building for ourselves and our families with the years ticking by. If we’re not intentional we can end up isolated, losing our spark and not having people to support and challenge us.
Something awesome happens when you get out of the day to day, into the outdoors. The connections and conversations are different.

Running a business while showing up for your family takes a lot of energy. It can be hard to step back, decide what you want the next year to look like, and make sure the things that matter at home and at work are moving in the same direction.
As an Adventure Club member, you’ll have a two-hour planning session to work through the year you want to create. You can do the session on your own or invite your wife or partner to join you.
Together, we’ll set a clear direction and choose a small number of priorities across areas such as family, business and finances, health, and the adventures or interests you want to make time for. You’ll create a clear focus for the next 90 days aligned with bigger priorities.
What’s Included as a Member
A facilitated two-hour 1:1 “Life and Business Design” session. Get clear on you next 12 month direction, and 3 key projects you want to work on. 1 Personal Project, 1 Family Project and 1 Business Project. These then become your 90 day focus. Your wife or partner is welcome to join if that’s useful for you.
1:1 Annual Freedom Roadmap
Halfway through the year, I’ll run a group Alignment Workshop online. Creating time to re align makes a huge difference in the long term. Learn what others are doing and get ideas / support on what you need to keep moving forward.
Mid Year Alignment Session
When you join, I’ll arrange a call to get to know you, hear what you’re building, and answer your questions. Find out a bit of your story, your dream and anything you need right now. With your agreement, I’ll introduce you to members I think you’ll enjoy getting to know or that can help you.
Personalised Connections
Stay in touch through our private WhatsApp group. Connect about adventures, share what about your 3 x projects you’re working on, ask for a perspective, and hear about what other members are up to.
Private Member Community
Members organise adventures and meet-ups throughout the year, from local missions to longer trips. Join the ones that fit your season. Hosting an adventure is welcome, but it isn’t a requirement. Each trip will explain the plan, any gear or travel needs, and any extra costs before you decide whether to join.

Annual Adventure Summit in Nelson
Annually there’s an Aventure Club Summit in Nelson in February (optional to attend.) We’ll take some time to connect with people from around the country, set annual goals, and have some fun adventuring. Dates for the next one is in the ‘bigger adventures’ section below.
Why Make Space For Adventure?
Often the best conversations happen while you’re walking a trail, driving to a hut, or figuring something out together outdoors.
Adventure Club members plan all sorts of experiences, from a quick morning mission to a few days away. There are already ideas and plans for activities such as hiking, hunting, snowboarding, fishing, boating, mountain biking, surfing, camping, and more.
You don’t need to own a boat, a bach, or specialist gear to join. Choose the adventures that suit you, and take part in a way that works for your life.
Bigger Adventures
A few days. Travel a bit further and make epic memories. Get out of your regular space and into the outdoors.
Micro Aventures
Smaller missions close to home. Easy to join. Everything from a morning workout to day hike, evening ride to spontaneous mission.
Who is Adventure Club for?
Adventure Club is for fathers who are building a business and want to be intentional about the life they’re building too.
This is often things like:
Get clearer about what you want from the next year (or decade)
Make better-aligned decisions about family, business, health etc.
Take ownership of your life and season, instead of being reactive
Meet other dads who understand the challenges and rewards of building a business
Make more time for the outdoors, hobbies, and fun with shared adventures
Create a freedom business and fulfilling life with others doing the same
You don’t need to have everything figured out to join. Together we aspire to being good men, and great fathers with growing businesses.
How Joining Works
1. Request a conversation
Fill in the short form below and tell me a little about what you’re building and any adventures you’re keen on.
2. I’ve give you a call
I’ll contact you for a chat and explain how membership works, hear what you’re looking for, and answer your questions. It’s a great way to connect you with others, and find your best adventures.
3. Decide if it’s right for you
If it feels like a good fit, we’ll send you an invitation to join and the payment details. Your membership starts once you’ve joined and paid.
Want to try it first?
If you’d like to meet some members and experience an adventure first, ask about an upcoming open adventure on the call. Guest places are paid, with the event cost and details shared before you book. If you decide to join after the event, we’ll credit your guest booking toward your first year’s membership.

Your annual membership includes your Freedom Roadmap session, a mid-year group alignment session, welcome + specific connections, the private member community, and access to member-organised adventures and meet-ups.
Adventure-related costs are listed with each event and paid separately where applicable. Purchase through your business for business networking / workshops as it’s tax deductible.

The annual fee covers your membership and the inclusions listed above. Some adventures have additional costs for things like accommodation, transport, permits, or activities. Each event listing will explain any costs before you decide to join.

Start with a welcome call. We’ll explain the membership and show you an example of the roadmap. If you’d also like to experience an adventure with members, ask about an upcoming open adventure. Guest places are paid, and the event costs are shared before you book. If you join after attending, your guest booking will be credited toward your first year’s membership.

No. Join the adventures that fit your time, interests, and family commitments. Hosting is optional too.

Members are based in different parts of New Zealand, and adventures will happen in different places. You can travel to an adventure that interests you, or suggest a local meet-up or mission. We’ll help connect you with members who may be nearby.

Adventure Club is centred on setting direction for the year, staying connected with other dads building businesses, and making time for adventures together.
Modern Freedom is for people who want a deeper, ongoing focus on designing a freedom business and a fulfilling life. Typically working towards making $100-$500k take home pay, working no more than 3 days a week and up to 8 weeks off a year. If you’re unsure which is the better fit, mention it in your welcome call and we’ll talk it through.
